Get your Second Encore on...

Another example to remind you that the Music industry is a business and not just your cuddly harmonic friend. The Isle of Wight festival are offering the chance to buy membership to their yearly shin-dig, among other things it entitles you the ability to buy festival ticket up to 3 years in advance. Yes you read that right 3 whole years.

You can now buy a season ticket for your favourite football team, a yearly oyster card but also your summer festivals, who says kids these day's don't plan for there future. How long until you have to join a waiting list to see something years in advance as the tickets are already sold out, even without knowing who will be there.

We just hope you will be able to hear the music over the sound of the cash register Ca-Ching!

I am very pleased to announce that the campaign has got its first bit of airplay on Danny Baker's BBC London show. The host is well known for his love of music and showed his support for the idea of saving the encore. If you missed the show i have included the sound-clip below.

Last night Two Spot Gobi thanked the cheering crowd at their Kings Cross gig by dedicating the first impromptu encore to The Campaign, but this wasn't enough for the fans who still wanted more and wouldn't let the band leave without just one more song, and they were not disappointed.

***UPDATE*** Thanks for your patience and we hope you like the new site, there have been a few changes and a tweak here and there. The newest feature is the Guest List - as we want bands to know how many people want change, so show your support and get your name on the Guest List.

To end her 2nd night at Shepherds Bush Empire on Tuesday 29th May Amy closed the set by saying this would be her final song of the night, which gained a reaction from the crowd of disappointment at being the last song, but Amy replied with "You've all been to one of these things before, come on you know how it works.....". So even artists as well known as Amy are becoming complacent with the whole encore.
